The Journey Begins
The insight which led to my writing this book began to take form one Saturday morning at the beach where I laid on my towel seeking sun and serenity. Feeling angry, defeated and sad because of the way I had been treated for being gay and having AIDS, I began to express my frustration by writing in the sand and what emerged was,

“I have AIDS—get OVA it!”
